The ACICSE pursues the objective to encourage and facilitate the activities of the Italian inter-university centre for the study of growth and development CICSE (Centro Inter-universitario per lo studio sulla Crescita e lo Sviluppo Economico) in the fields of research and teaching. Specifically, the ACICSE association

a)     facilitates the interaction among the participants to conferences and courses organized by either CICSE or the association itself;

b)    promotes conferences, congresses, workshops, debates on theoretical and empirical aspects of growth and development.

The members of the Association are the founding members (professors Enrico Bellino, Mauro Caminati, Pasquale Commendatore, Arrigo Opocher, Neri Salvadori, Massimo Tamberi), the present members and the past members of CICSE, the ordinary members, the honorary members. All members have the same rights. The ordinary membership is for a single calendar year. Any individual interested in the activities of the Association is eligible in principle for membership upon payment of the annual membership fee, which for 2015 is 10 euros. The assembly of the Association consists of all the members and meets annually to determine a programme of activities and to take decisions concerning the Association’s financial management. The Directive  Council is elected by the Assembly and consists of 3 to 5 components out of the members of CICSE; the term of their office is three years and they are eligible for re-election. The present components of the Directive Council are Mauro Caminati, Pasquale Commendatore, Arrigo Opocher, Neri Salvadori, Massimo Tamberi. The President is responsible for representing the interests of the Association and is elected by the Assembly. The actual President is Enrico Bellino.
